New construction is happening in Southwest Cape Coral, Florida. We may have experienced a lag over the past few years in new builds but we are watching more and more houses pop up all over the SW quadrant of Cape Coral again. Most of these new construction homes are being built on gulf access canal lots. They are larger, upscale homes not to be confused with the smaller, row type housing developments that flooded our market in 2005 and 2006.
